About Fartbook

Fartbook is a small, deliberately old-fashioned social site built around one thing: recorded farts. You record (or upload) a toot, give it a title, and other members react, comment, save and share it. That's the whole product. Yes, really.

What you can do

• Record straight in the browser, or upload an audio file up to 10 MB.
• Give each post a title and an optional description.
• React with 👍 ❤️ 🤗 or 👎 😡 🤢 — one reaction per post, and you can change or remove it.
• Comment on posts, save the good ones, and follow other members.
• Sort the feed by Newest, Top, or Trending (reaction activity from the last 7 days).
• Edit, hide, download or delete your own posts from the ⋯ menu on your post.
• Report a post you think breaks the spirit of the place.

Accounts

Fartbook is for people aged 13 and over. You can sign up with an email address and password, which asks for your date of birth, or continue with Google or Apple, which doesn't. Without an account you can still browse the feed and listen.

Privacy controls

Under Edit Profile → Privacy Settings you choose separately who can see your profile, your posts, your followers and your stats: everyone, followers only, or nobody. Hidden posts stay visible to you for management and disappear from everyone else's lists.
