Posting a fart

• Open the box at the top of the feed, then press Record and allow microphone access. Press stop when you're done.
• Prefer a file? Use Upload. Audio files only, 10 MB maximum.
• Add a title (required) and a description (optional), then Post.
• Nothing is uploaded until you press Post, so you can re-record as many takes as your dignity allows.

Reacting and commenting

• Hover or tap React to pick a reaction. Picking the same one again removes it; picking another replaces it.
• The votes number is the net score: positive reactions minus negative ones, so it can go below zero.
• Comment with the box under a post. Press Enter or Post to send.

Your own posts

• The ⋯ menu on your post has Edit, Download Audio, Hide/Unhide and Delete.
• Hide keeps the post for you and takes it out of everyone else's feed, search and profile lists.
• Delete is permanent and asks you to confirm.

Saving and sharing

• The bookmark icon saves a post. Find saved posts under More → Saved Posts.
• Share opens your device's share sheet where available, otherwise the link is copied to your clipboard.
• A shared link opens that single post. If the post was deleted, hidden or is private, the link shows a neutral "not available" page instead.

Browsing the feed

• Newest pages through everything, oldest last.
• Top and Trending show a bounded window of the highest-scoring and most-reacted-to recent posts, not every post ever.
• Pressing a tab again takes a fresh snapshot, so the order only changes when you ask.

Search

The search box in the header looks through post titles and descriptions and through public profile fields (username, display name, bio). It only ever returns posts and profiles you're allowed to see.

Reporting

Any signed-in member can report a post from its ⋯ menu: pick a reason, add optional detail, and send. You can report a given post once. Moderators review reports; you'll see your own report's status, not anyone else's.

Accounts and passwords

• Forgot your password? Use the "Forgotten password?" link on the login page.
• Change your name, photo, cover and details under More → Edit Profile.
• Change who can see your profile, posts, followers and stats under Edit Profile → Privacy Settings.
• Profile and cover photos can be zoomed and cropped before saving.
